This is the DEM simulation of a die filling process with highly cohesive powder, as used in the powder metallurgy industry. The simulation snapshot shows the mixing of the differently colored particles. The simulation snapshot also shows the adaptive MPI load-balancing algorithm. The graphs show the center of mass in x-direction for the whole powder assembly and for the powder assembly colored in blue. For comparison with a non-cohesive case, see here.
